Breakfast Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee all front and back of the house breakfast & lunch operations.
- Shift supervision.
- Candidate is required to be flexible with regard to shift times in low season.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through promoting excellent service; respond to customer complaints tactfully and professionally.
- Maintain quality control for all food served.
- Analyze staff evaluations and feedback to improve the customer’s experience.
- Project future needs for goods, restaurant supplies, and cleaning products; order accordingly.
- Oversee health and safety regulation standards.
- Seek ways to cut waste and decrease operational costs.
- Assist in generating weekly, monthly, and annual reports (training provided).
- Train new employees and provide ongoing training for all staff.
- Attend quarterly P&L meetings.
Breakfast Supervisor Requirements and Qualifications:
- Significant work experience in management and the hospitality industry.
- Strong working knowledge of food and beverage service.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Decisive and critical thinker.
- A positive and can-do attitude.
- Flexibility - this role is predominantly mornings but may include some evening shifts when required.
Nice to Have:
- Front-of-house experience is a must.
- Bar experience is preferred but not essential.
